Description
Do not let your customers wait in line. IDR document reader — Intersoft Document Reader — is designed for businesses with direct customer contact such as hotels, campsites, car rentals, charter boats, banks, telecommunications companies and others.
Within 2–3 seconds, all detected document data can be transferred directly into the connected PMS or business system, allowing the original document to be immediately returned to the customer.
IDR is already integrated with software companies including ASA, Proxima, Ericsoft, SGS, Micros Fidelio, Lasersoft, NI.CE computing, HQ Soft, Passepartout, Istratech, Laserline, Code One, Pakom, Computer Studio and others.
Scanning starts automatically through a motion sensor. This makes the data collection process faster and more accurate than manual entry and allows staff to spend more time with the customer.
IDR supports standard and non-standard identity documents from more than 190 countries, including identity cards, passports, e-passports, visas and driving licences.
Three reading technologies can be used: OCR — Optical Character Recognition, MRZ — Machine Readable Zone and optional RFID — Radio Frequency Identification.
Combining multiple sources improves reading accuracy. Special characters can also be automatically translated into the required alphabet.

Description
IDR Mini is an ultra-compact scanner for fast data entry. It is an automated document reader developed for management systems and applications where rapid document processing is important.
Designed for frequent document processing, IDR Mini combines accurate capture with a simple, operator-friendly workflow.
Hotels, casinos, car rental services, age-restricted retail and currency exchange are just some examples of possible environments in which IDR Mini can be used.
Scanning begins automatically as soon as the document is placed on the scanning surface.
Several high-resolution images are acquired and processed. Gloss reflections produced by laminated documents are reduced to improve OCR results.
Within approximately two seconds, detected document data becomes available. This can save significant amounts of time compared with manual entry and can also improve data accuracy.
The device contains no moving parts, reducing hardware maintenance requirements.
IDR Mini operates through a single USB port and requires no external power supply.

IDR KIOSK
Description
IDR Kiosk is a full-page ePassport and 1D reader designed for kiosks and automatic security gate applications.
The compact reader module is approximately 10 cm / 4 inches tall and includes mounting points, recessed connections, a replaceable document guide bracket and status LEDs.
The device contains a full-size ID-3 document reading glass platen designed to remain replaceable even after the unit has been installed.
Its physical form factor is optimized for e-gates and other CUSS projects.
The mounting bracket is fully reversible through 180 degrees during installation, allowing greater flexibility and easier access to the reading glass.
The reader is designed for document authentication and data-reading tasks while maintaining a compact form suitable for embedded and self-service environments.
